Air China has placed an order for 20 Airbus A350-900s, valued at approximately $6.54 billion, based on list prices,

The A350s are slated for deliveries from 2020 through 2022.

Air China currently operates 10 A350-900s.

A fresh order for wide-body aircraft would help Airbus in wide-body orders as it recorded negative tally of 35 jets, meaning the Airbus had more cancellations than orders for twin aisle aircraft this year.

Boeing is leading in orders for wide-body jets with a total of 61 wide-body jets in the same first half this year.
